ACTIVE SHOOTER PUT DOWN
There was a report of an active shooter incident at Mount Horeb Middle School, located west of Madison, on Wednesday morning, May 1. Authorities have confirmed that the "threat has been neutralized."
A statement on the Mount Horeb Area School District's Facebook page mentioned that the individual did not manage to gain entry into the premises.
